This year, we have 10 members, including one auditor!
During the summer, we undertook a two-week training program in Nepal.
At the seminar research presentation, all seminar students gave presentations.

How should we adapt to this age of multicultural coexistence? What does it mean to accept diversity?
In the Seki seminar, we think about and discuss these questions every day.
As one answer to the question, the seminar students created videos about "what they want to communicate about themselves."

Nepal training
The Nepal training was conducted from September 5th to September 17th, 2024.
By living and eating with local students and interacting with them, they were able to come into contact with values and ways of thinking that were different from their own. Through these experiences, each seminar student was able to think about what intercultural exchange is, while also reexamining their own values and assumptions, providing an opportunity to discover a new side of themselves.
・Visiting UNFPA Nepal and exchanging views on various issues affecting people's health.
・We visited the villages of Maidan and Linnelach to experience local life and also conducted a happiness survey.
- I visited Swayambhunath in Kathmandu and was able to experience the culture of Nepalese Buddhism.

personal study
On December 7, 2024, the Tokyo Keizai University Seminar Research Presentation was held, and seven presentations were made by the Seki Seminar.
(One of them is a collaborative research project with students from Nepal.)
In response to a strong request from seminar students to make the second semester a " serious seminar ," everyone began working on individual research starting in October!
The weekly seminar lasted until 9 p.m., and there were times when it seemed like we were going to give up, but both Professor Seki and the seminar students gave it their all and were able to see it through to the end.
